Team Illinois is dedicated to growing the game of lacrosse in Illinois and offering select national travel teams for the best players in the state. The Team Illinois Community Member Club Program ensures that every player in Illinois has a chance to learn the game in their own communities from top-level coaches, and provides a structured path to the highest level of competition and national recognition.

Team Illinois is comprised of ten member clubs across Illinois, Wisconsin and Indiana, fielding both boys and girls programs: Chicago Elite, Chicago Surge, East Ave, Fluid, Four Star, NWI Region Rats, NWI Reign, Second City, Shamrocks and Yeti. Together they provide a comprehensive lacrosse experience for youth players, fostering both skill development and a sense of community. Each club has a unique focus and set of programs designed to support players from the youth level through high school.

Showcases

Team Illinois Lacrosse hosts a variety of high-caliber invitationals and showcases. These events offer extensive playing opportunities, professional HD filming, and significant exposure to college coaches, making them key platforms for player development and recruitment. Each event is meticulously organized, with features like positional instruction, multiple games, and community team brackets, ensuring comprehensive skill enhancement and visibility for participants.

AAA Travel Teams

Our AAA travel teams play the toughest schedule in Illinois. Boys and girls squads from the classes of 2028 through 2036 compete at the country’s premier tournaments and showcases, from the NLF National Championships to Crab Feast and the Great Atlantic Championships. Year-round coaching, a school-first calendar, and an honest recruiting process have put more than 100 Team Illinois players on college rosters.

Lacrosse League

The Illinois Youth Lacrosse League (IYLL) is dedicated to fostering the development of young lacrosse players across the state. The league organizes structured, community-based programs aimed at maximizing player growth and boosting local participation.

The IYLL emphasizes not just competition but also education and sportsmanship, ensuring that all players have a positive and enriching experience.
